Monthly access credits
One possible model: monthly access credits
Some indoor clubs use a monthly access-credit model to make different types of use easier to compare. Shellwood Bay is evaluating whether that idea would make sense locally, alongside simpler pay-as-you-go, included-access, unlimited-style, family, and corporate options. Final pricing, credit values, guest rules, booking windows, peak/off-peak policies, and premium bay rules are not final.
| Example use | Possible credit value | Notes |
|---|
| Off-peak practice hour | Example 1 credit | Solo practice, range work, wedge work, putting reps, or casual play. |
|---|
| Standard simulator hour | Example 1 credit | Normal member use for practice or casual rounds. |
|---|
| Peak simulator hour | Example 1.5–2 credits | Popular evening, weekend, or seasonal windows. |
|---|
| Premium/private bay hour | Example 2–3 credits | Private bay use, couples play, client hosting, or small groups. |
|---|
| League/event block | Format still being shaped | League and event formats will be refined with founding feedback. |
|---|
| Guest use | Policy still being shaped | Guest, spouse, household, and group policies will be finalized before launch. |
|---|
These are planning examples only, not final offers. Final membership terms will be announced after founding demand, site selection, buildout, insurance, and operating assumptions are validated.
We may brand these monthly access credits as “Shells” later, but for now the plain-language concept is monthly access credits.
