Premium indoor golf bay with realistic putting in North Venice concept and lounge seating
Membership concepts

Help shape the right access model.

Shellwood Bay is not selling final memberships yet. This page explains the access concepts being tested so local golfers can tell us what would feel useful, fair, and worth joining before pricing or terms are finalized.

This is market feedback, not a final offer.

The founding questionnaire asks which membership style the Venice area would be most comfortable with: lower dues plus hourly play, included monthly access credits, unlimited-style access with booking limits, couple/family use, or corporate/team access.

The examples below are plain-language concepts only. They help visitors understand the choices before they join the no-payment, no-commitment interest list.

Practice access

For focused improvement

For golfers who mostly want recurring practice time, short sessions, wedge work, putting reps, or lighter off-peak use.

  • Lower-commitment access concept
  • Practice, range, wedge, and putting use
  • Useful for retirees, medical professionals, and golfers fitting practice around busy schedules
Founder / corporate interest

For early supporters and hosts

For early supporters, local businesses, professional teams, client hosting, private-bay concepts, and community groups that may want a higher-access path.

  • Preview and demo invitations
  • Corporate, team, and private-event interest
  • Input on hours, bay count, guest access, and launch options

Monthly access credits

One possible model: monthly access credits

Some indoor clubs use a monthly access-credit model to make different types of use easier to compare. Shellwood Bay is evaluating whether that idea would make sense locally, alongside simpler pay-as-you-go, included-access, unlimited-style, family, and corporate options. Final pricing, credit values, guest rules, booking windows, peak/off-peak policies, and premium bay rules are not final.

These are planning examples only, not final offers. Final membership terms will be announced after founding demand, site selection, buildout, insurance, and operating assumptions are validated.

We may brand these monthly access credits as “Shells” later, but for now the plain-language concept is monthly access credits.

Budget comfort ranges we are testing

The form asks for a comfortable monthly budget range because the first real membership options should be grounded in local demand, not guessed in advance. These ranges are signals only, not published pricing.
